"Obscuration" is the first volume in an album series of the same name. This volume focuses on the roots of my early songwriting days, which began with recording instrumental songs that started from improvising on the guitar. The songs are, in essence, a compilation of demos that I looked back on after picking up the guitar back in 2009.

The title, "Obscuration" comes from a project I scrapped back in 2014. I chose to reuse it again as it best describes the album’s direction, which has no overarching concept. This way, the songs have complete creative freedom.

The majority of the songs were already recorded from 2012-2018. "Demon's Dance" was originally written in 2012, and is the only song that was completely re-recorded in 2019. Some of the songs received some edits, but otherwise remain largely unchanged. Collectively, the songs showcase different approaches to the production due to the times in which they were recorded.

Edit: I decided to re-release "Obscuration" with an updated tracklist and some tweaks to the production.
